Domain Privacy (WHOIS Privacy)

A service that hides your personal contact info from the public WHOIS database.

Domain privacy (WHOIS privacy or proxy registration) is a service offered by most registrars that replaces the registrant's personal contact information in the public WHOIS database with the registrar's or a proxy company's contact details. Since GDPR (2018), most registrars in the EU automatically mask registrant data. In other regions, privacy protection is offered as a free or paid add-on.
