HTTPS

The secure, encrypted version of HTTP — required for trust, SEO, and data security.

HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure) is the encrypted version of HTTP, securing data transmission between a browser and web server using TLS. A domain using HTTPS displays a padlock icon in the browser. HTTPS is required for e-commerce, login pages, and any site handling sensitive data. Google has confirmed HTTPS as a ranking signal. All new domain deployments should use HTTPS by default.
