IP Address
The numerical address of a server or device on the internet that domain names resolve to.
An IP address (Internet Protocol address) is a numerical label assigned to each device on a network. IPv4 addresses are 32-bit numbers written as four decimal octets (e.g., 192.168.1.1). IPv6 uses 128-bit hexadecimal addresses. Domain names are mapped to IP addresses via DNS. IP geolocation allows services to determine where visitors are located.
