Revenue Multiple

Valuing a domain as a multiple of its annual revenue or parking income.

A revenue multiple is a valuation method for domains or domain-based businesses, calculated as a multiple of annual revenue or parking income. A parked domain earning $1,000/year might sell for 2–5x annual revenue ($2,000–$5,000). Developed domain websites are often valued at 20–40x monthly revenue (similar to website brokerage multiples). Revenue multiples are most useful for income-generating domains.
