Wallet Address

The long alphanumeric string used to receive cryptocurrency — Web3 domains replace these with human-readable names.

A crypto wallet address is a long alphanumeric string that serves as the destination for cryptocurrency transactions (e.g., "0x71C7656EC7ab88b098defB751B7401B5f6d8976F"). Web3 domain names (like ENS .eth names) are designed to replace these difficult-to-read addresses with human-readable names. When someone sends crypto to "alice.eth," the ENS protocol resolves it to the underlying wallet address.
