URS (Uniform Rapid Suspension)
A faster, cheaper UDRP alternative for new gTLDs — results in suspension rather than transfer.
The Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) is a faster, cheaper alternative to the UDRP designed specifically for new gTLD domains. URS cases must involve clear-cut trademark infringement and result in suspension (not transfer) of the domain. The URS has a higher burden of proof for complainants than the UDRP and is typically used for obvious cybersquatting cases. It was introduced alongside new gTLDs in 2014.
