Domain Transfer

Moving a domain's registration from one registrar to another.

A domain transfer moves the registration of a domain name from one registrar to another. The process requires obtaining an auth code from the current (losing) registrar, unlocking the domain, initiating the transfer at the new (gaining) registrar, and confirming via email. Transfers typically take 5–7 days to complete and extend the domain's registration by one year. Domains cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer.
