Registrar

An ICANN-accredited company that sells and manages domain name registrations.

A domain registrar is an organization accredited by ICANN (or a relevant national authority) to sell and manage domain name registrations. Registrars provide the interface through which individuals and businesses register, renew, transfer, and configure domain names. Popular registrars include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, and Cloudflare.
