Pending Delete

The 5-day countdown before an expired domain is released and available for re-registration.

Pending delete is the final phase before an expired domain is released back to the public registry. After the redemption period, a domain enters pending delete for approximately 5 days. During this phase, no one can register or recover the domain. When it exits pending delete, it drops and becomes available for registration — this is the moment domain investors using drop-catching services target.
